home-based services & teletherapy

Individual speech therapy sessions take place in the child's home.  Being in the home allows me to work with the child in their most natural environment and also educate families/caregivers on strategies to use and practice between sessions to maximize generalization.  Teletherapy (online video conferencing) is also available via a HIPAA compliant platform upon request.

Speech therapy sessions are typically 30-60 minutes and are based on the needs of the individual child.

Referral process

1. Give me a call or send me a message and I will discuss your concerns with you.
2. We will schedule an evaluation that will take place in your home or via teletherapy.
3. The evaluation will take place and a treatment plan will be written.
4. Speech therapy will begin!

talking tots class

Talking Tots is a "parent/caregiver and me" language development class for toddlers aged 15 months to 3 years old. This is a 4 week class that incorporates music, toys and games along with various strategies to help elicit your toddler's language skills. This class is for ALL children. Whether you feel your toddler may have a language delay, or you just want to be proactive about your child's language development, this is the class for you! Children engage in fun activities while parents/caregivers implement learned strategies with guidance from the speech therapist. Helping your child learn to communicate is one of the best gifts you can give your little one. A child who can communicate experiences less tantrums, stronger relationships and less frustration. As a pediatric speech therapist, and having two children of my own, I have learned tips and tricks to get your little one's to talk.

Sessions are held at the Children's Movement Center in New Milford, CT.  The class consists of five 45 minute sessions.  Class registration includes ALL DAY access to the Children's Movement Center toddler playground.  You can bring lunch and eat in their indoor picnic area as well as leave for nap and return after to play MORE!  Click the button below to register for the next session!
